Now that we know what it is what about how found it and a little bit more about it. well, let's start off with the founder which is known to be Jan Oort. 2 light years away there is the Oort cloud that is full of comets and ice. we already know that it is like a shield. what else is there to know well a lot from what I have found. it is found a little farther than Pluto and it goes around to the sun and back. It has 2 regions like that of Earth. it has an outer Oort cloud and a disc-shaped inner Oort cloud. here is what it looks like and the length of it. this is one of the most likely comets that has come from the Oort cloud.  this is the websites that I have used. next week we will be looking at the origin of it.  I am looking for more to let you all in to learn more about it

what is Oort Cloud

I am not sure what it is myself so I had to look it and found a kid-friendly way to talk about what it is. what I have come to understand is that it is like a bubble with little shells on it. it is mostly made of ice space debris. this ice space debris will break free and come to the sun becoming a comet. this can take up to a 1,000,000 years for an Oort Cloud comet to go around the sun.
